This revolution will not be monetized.

In a world where every interaction is monetized, an offering of refuge.

To be clear, I am not opposed to disabled people earning a living via blogs, web pages, or other social media. I’ll promote them here on my own page. But this space is dedicated to my children who I refuse to monetize.

The Oxford dictionary defines a revolution in pertinent part as:

Fundamental change: A major, radical, or complete change in political and social organization.

The definition also includes overthrowing the government, but my goals are bigger than that.

Fundamentally changing how we think about care systems and structures in our state and in our country requires examining our relationship with disability.
